What happened when we used it

Still in use as of September 2026. How we pick
A nice rug, and the washable part is real. Being able to put a rug this size through a wash instead of living with stains is the reason we bought it. The grey pattern hides the everyday marks in between. We have washed it several times and it has held up, with no fraying and no shrinking. It is in the living room, soft enough that the kids sit and play on it, and it has had pet accidents and spills washed out of it. The catch: at 8 by 10 it needs a big machine, more than a regular home washer, and it dries slowly, so plan on a day or more before it goes back down.
It is an OK rug. Next time we would buy a thicker one.
Not one we’d buy again. Read the downside first.
