The first scooter we bought was a character one, and it was a toy, wobbly with hard plastic wheels. Returned it. This besrey is the one every kid at the park seems to have, and now I know why.
The lean-to-steer means a three-year-old cannot jackknife the front wheel and go over the bars. She leans, it turns. The deck is wide and low, and the PU wheels roll quietly on the sidewalk. The light-up wheels need no batteries, they light from spinning, and they are the reason she wants to ride.
The handlebar has four heights, so it should last from three to about eight. Two weeks in, it folds flat for the trunk and has survived the sidewalk.
One thing: the fold latch takes adult hands. Kids cannot do it, which is fine.
