Our daughter wakes up at first light. Blackout curtains helped but light leaks around the edges. This is a sheet of thick fabric that sticks to the window frame with magnets and covers the whole window, edge to edge. The room is dark at 7 a.m. in June.
We also fold it into the suitcase. Hotel curtains never close all the way, and this goes up in two minutes with the magnets on the metal frame, or with the included adhesive strips if the frame is wood.
It is not pretty. It is a black rectangle on the window. It goes in a kid's room or a hotel room, not the living room. And you have to cut it to size, so measure and use a straight edge.
