We bought this in December after a grease fire in a pan that we put out with a lid and a lot of yelling. The extinguisher lives under the kitchen sink now, and there is a second one in the garage.

The things that matter: it is rated for kitchen fires including grease and electrical, the gauge tells you at a glance it is charged, and the metal valve means it will still work in ten years. Check the gauge once a year. That is the whole maintenance.

It weighs about four pounds and the bracket screws to the inside of a cabinet door so it is not buried behind the trash bags.

Nothing to review really. It is 20 dollars. Buy two.
