We had the Old Stone pizza stone for a year before we had a peel, and for that whole year moving a raw pizza onto a 500 degree stone was a two-person panic. This fixed it. The aluminum edge is thin enough to slide under the dough, a little semolina on the peel and the pizza slides off with one shake.

The folding handle is why I picked this one over the wooden ones. Folded, it fits in a drawer. Wooden peels are nice but they are huge and they stain.

The rocker cutter that comes with it is decent, not great. It cuts, but a proper pizza wheel is still better. Treat it as a bonus.

If you own a pizza stone and do not own a peel, buy this first. It costs less than two takeout pizzas.
