I bought this for the Instant Pot, because every recipe starts with a diced onion and I hate dicing onions. Cut the onion in half, put it on the grid, press the lid, done. Perfect even cubes fall into the container underneath.

It does the same for peppers, potatoes, and cucumbers. The slicing blades work for thin potato rounds and cucumber salads. The grater is fine for cheese.

Where it struggles: really hard things like a whole carrot or sweet potato need real force, and soft things like tomatoes get mushy. Cut hard vegetables into smaller chunks first. Cleaning the small dice grid needs the included tool or a brush, the bits get stuck.

The container has volume markings which is handy. It lives in the cabinet next to the Instant Pot and gets used most nights.
