Oral-B iO Series 8 Electric Toothbrush (Black Onyx)

We love this one. The app tracks where you have brushed and how long you spent in each part of your mouth. It was interesting at first, but we stopped opening it, and the brush is just as good without it. The best part is the pressure sensor on the handle: the ring glows green when you are doing it right and red when you press too hard, so you correct yourself in real time. That light is the feature that changed how we brush, not the app. We came to it from an older, cheaper Oral-B, and the difference is noticeable: teeth feel cleaner after brushing.

We only ever use Daily Clean and ignore the other modes, and we swap the head every three months when it reminds us. The battery lasts more than two weeks between charges, so it is rarely on the charger. We have not found a downside.
