I bought three because I wanted to know if the nursery was too dry in winter, if the basement was too humid in summer, and what the humidity was next to the coffee beans. Twenty dollars answered all three.
The basement hit 68 percent in August, which is why there is a dehumidifier now. The nursery is the one we will be watching once the heat comes on and the air dries out. Small and simple, the readings match each other within a degree when you set them side by side.
They run on a single button cell for about a year. The magnet on the back sticks to the fridge and the little stand works on a shelf.
Nothing fancy, no app, no Wi-Fi. That is why they work.
