We bought this as a gift for a friend who is a Spanish cook and runs pop-up food events, so it is his shade at work. One person can set it up on their own, it packs into its own carry bag, and he still uses it at his pop-ups.
The 12x12 size gives a lot of coverage, and the one-button push design makes setup simple.
The weak spot is the joints. The first one broke in moderate wind, not a storm, and we had to ask the seller for a replacement. The screws holding the joints together could be a lot sturdier than the ones they use. Use the weight bags every time, and take it down as soon as the wind picks up.
Not one we’d buy again. Read the downside first.
